CENTRIFUGAL DEGASSER

The centrifugal degasser: FCOCENTDEGAS300C is a new type of degasser, specialized in processing drilling fluids with gas cutting. It is normally installed after vibrating screen and widely used in various solids control system, and it is very important to recover mud weight, stabilize mud viscosity performance and reduce drilling cost, meanwhile, this can be used as a great blender. Its advantages are large capacity, high degassing rate, smaller required area, low energy consumption, easy operation and maintenance.

The main operation of this degasser is that, through its rotating impeller, it sucks the drilling fluid into the container. The fluids will remain at a higher level than the gas cutting drilling fluid and then a cylindrical liquid layer will form with a cone-shaped space right in the middle. Drilling fluid is shot from the discharge port along a tangent line; With the impeller rotating, the bubbles are broken, the gas will be drawn out of the liquid and finally accumulate in the cone-shaped space with a much lower density. The pressurization unit (similar to the extractor) will draw air through the narrow channel between the air distribution disc and the air separation ring in the discharge cone, followed by the gas manifold, braided hose and the pressurized device to the unit of pressure. Finally the gas will be discharged through the pressure pressure device.
